Chien

Name: Le BeBe Chien a.k.a. Chien

Age and Birthdate:  12 years old, March 30, 1998

Any Siblings: bunches…I have 5 brothers (2 dogs named Oliver and Sting; a Conure named Dipity; a Lionhead bunny named Elliot; and a Russian Tortoise named Wuzzy) and I have 2 sisters (a cat named Cocoa and a dog named Sophie) and I can not forget my Aunty Fetitsa (a cat)

Favorite Foods: I have lots…my favorite meal is The Honest Kitchen’s Embark…I also like a variety of fruits and veggies as I am a very healthy eater.

Favorite Snacks: My favorite snakes are made by Zukes…they are the best, in my opinion anyways.

Any Hobbies: Yes, I love to snuggle and get a good game of chase going in the backyard with my brothers and sister.

Ok, ok…nuf with the questions! I wanna tell my story…you know the story of Chien. Ok, so here it goes. My name is Chien and I am such a lucky boy to have found my family! The luckiest day of my life was somewhere in June of 1998 when my Mommy laid eyes on me at this place that kept me in a cage while people just stared at me thru a big glass window…I didn’t like that place at all. The people then brought me into a room with these 2 really nice ladies and one of them picked me and snuggled me so I just kissed her all over and then it happened…she asked if I wanted her to be my Mommy! YES YES YES, of course, is all I could think! So, Mommy and Grandma brought me to my new house to me my Aunties and Sister…they, of course, are kitties. Sadly, Auntie Tabitha is no longer with us as she got really sick in November 2009 and went to live in heaven in December 2009. But, Auntie Fetitsa and my sister Cocoa are still here. My life always hasn’t been easy…as a puppy I developed some sort of food issue and the kibble I was eating started to hurt my tummy…Mommy still doesn’t know why or what was wrong but she did everything she could to find some food that I could eat. After some trial and error I was put on a raw diet and BOY OH BOY was that yummy! For me, puppy hood is a blast and I don’t think I ever left puppy hood and really who would want to leave it.  Then was I was about 2 1/2 years old Mom and Grandma took me on a really long car ride and we went into this house and there were all these puppies and a few grown up dogs…they let me play with a couple of the puppies and when I found one I liked and that liked me a whole lot Grandma said ok we will take him. Take him where…I was confused. So after a little while we all got in the car with this puppy…hmmm I wondered what was going on. So we got home with the puppy and it was so much fun…I was guessing at this point he was staying and now was my family too. His name was Sebastian and he was a funny thing…I think they said he was a English Bulldog. So are years together were so great and we had a blast together…oh we had our ups and downs but we always had fun and loved each other. Sebastian got sick when he was around 2 years old and it scared me…he had what was called Epilepsy. I could tell when he was going to have a seizure and I would try and help him and alert Mommy and Grandma. That makes me sad to talk about so I will leave it at that. So a few years later it was decided that we were going to move and we did not too long after it was decided. When we finally got to the new house I was so happy as Sebastian and I finally were going to have a “real” backyard and it was pretty big! So, now we are living in the country and, I guess, we are now country boys! So every thing was going great and we were all happy. Then one day Mom and Grandma came home with a puppy…hmmm, I thought. So after I looked at him I realized he sorta looks like me. Pretty funny, I say although I was NEVER that small! So, this little guys name is Oliver. He is a comedian and makes us all laugh pretty much daily. We were all doing great and living the good life and then it happened…Sebastian got sick and after a long battle we had to let him go… I miss him so very much. And shortly after that is when Auntie Tabitha got sick and left us too. But, then, just before Christmas…those 2 were at it again but they didn’t just bring home 1 puppy, they brought home 2! So now Oliver and I have a new brother and a new sister! They are growing up so fast but they aren’t very big…but whatever they are my family! So there you have it …my story…well, the short version anyways!
