So for the turkey Mom just bakes it with no seasonings or stuffing…just the bird! As for veggies…we like a yam mixed with some cranberries and carrots and she bakes it for 30 minutes at 250 degrees. Now for her special recipe…the stuffing and it is totally dog friendly!

Ange’s Doggy Stuffing

2 cups bread (cut into bite sized cubes)
1/4 cup parsley( finely chopped)
1 large Gala apple (cored and diced)
1 cup baby carrots (chopped)
1/2 cup cranberries (chopped)
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
2 eggs (beaten)

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Serve raw or cooked. If cooking, bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool before serving.

As for the amount to feed…Mommy feeds us home cooked meals daily so our tummy’s are ok with this sort of meal but if your pooch is not used to it please only give a small portion. Nobody wants to have a tummy ache during a holiday! Feel free to message Mommy if you have any questions…she doesn’t mind at all!

And for dessert…did you really think Mommy would forget our dessert!?!? She makes us a frozen treat that is pretty yummy!

Ange’s Mutt Sundae

2 scoops Breyer’s All Natural vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup blueberries
2 tablespoons organic creamy peanut butter
1 banana

Mix ice cream, blueberries, and peanut butter in a bowl. Slice banana and place slices on top on mixture and serve.

Mommy divides the above sundae recipe up between the 4 of us! We would rather each have our own but we are also ok with sharing…sharing is good, right?!?!

1. Thoroughly clean the toilet.

2. Add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet water and leave the lid up.

3. Soothe the cat while you carry him/her towards the bathroom.

4. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close the lid.

Note: You may need to stand on the lid so that he/she can not escape.

Caution: Do not get any part of your body too close to the edge, as his/her paws will be reaching out for any surface they can find.

5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a power wash and rinse, which has been proven to be quite effective.

6. Have someone ready to open the bathroom, and ensure that no one is standing between the toilet and the bathroom door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can and quickly lift the lid.

8. The now clean cat will rocket out of the toilet and run out of the bathroom, where he/she will dry him/her-self off.

If your doggy has allergies like me keep a watch out on Designed Pink because Mommy is going to be making some and they will be up for sale!

Fetitsa’s question: Why do I forget things sometimes??? You tell me that I am old…what does that have to do with anything…you are no spring chicken yourself!!!
My response: Well, Fetitsa, you forget things because you have something called dementia…it happens to some cats as they get older. Speaking of older…in cat years you are up there and, yes, I am no spring chicken but in human years I am almost in the middle. Don’t worry about your age…it is just a number and you are only as old as you feel. I see you playing and running around so just because you are 15 doesn’t mean anything!!!

Cocoa’s question: Mommy, I don’t have a question…I just want to tell you that I love you very very much and I love it when you come into my room to snuggle and play with me!
My response:Awe…my sweet Cocoa, I love you very much too!!! You tell me you love me all the time when you knead me and pur ever so loud!!!

Mitzi’s question: Why did you take Poppy and me from our Mommy to live inside your house?
My response: Mitzi, I brought you in because I love you and Poppy. You and your sister were sick and I needed to bring you in and get your to a doctor to help make you feel better and get healthy. If your Mommy would let me, I would bring her inside too…but, I have tried and she freaks out way too much.

Poppy’s question: My question for you is there is this big table with dirt in it and something or someone walking around inside…why can’t I go in there to check this thing out???
My response: Oh Poppy, that is Wuzzy and he is a tortoise. You can’t go in there because it is not a kitty zone! Once you are 100% all better I will bring Wuzzy out and let the 2 of you meet.

Ok…there you have it…the thoughts that ponder the minds of my cats!!! I know they have other questions and thoughts so I will have to remember every once in awhile to ask what they are.
